Western Line Level Crossing Programme

JKhoo Consultancy has been appointed as part of the AECOM Beca team to deliver the investment case for replacing 21 rail level crossings along Auckland's Western Line. As part of this team, Jerry will be the leading the economics for this Investment Case.

The Level Crossing Removal Programme, jointly funded by Auckland Council and NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi, is a critical next step in unlocking the full benefits of the City Rail Link — enabling safer, more frequent train services and supporting significant housing growth along the rapid transit corridor.

The AECOM Beca team will advise across business cases, design and delivery, with construction of the first new bridges or underpasses expected from the early 2030s.
